Mapo Tofu



Ingredients:

Grounded pork
Tofu
Garlic
Green Onion
Ginger
Tapioca Starch
Soy Sauce
Sugar
Rice wine
Chili oil
Thick broad-bean sauce

Instructions:
Slice ginger and cut garlic, green onion and tofu into pieces
Stir-fry grounded pork with ginger, garlic and green onion about 3~5 minutes
Add some thick broad-bean sauce and sugar into the pot
Stir-fry about 2~3 minutes and add some soy sauce and rice wine Put the tofu into the pot and add some water just cover all the stuff and wait about 4~5 minutes
Add some tapioca starch, boil about 3~5 minutes
And add some chili oil

Pig Blood Soup


Ingredients:
Pig bone
Chinese kimchi
Pig blood
Green onion
Water
Salt
Pepper

Instructions:
Put the pig bones into pot and add some water just cover them.
Stew it about 3~4 hours
Soak the Chinese kimchi into cold water about 1 hour
Cut the green onion into pieces and stir fry with pig blood
Put all the stuff into the pig bones soup and boil it 30 minutes
Add some salt or pepper

Stinky Tofu


Ingredients:
Stinky Tofu
Cabbage
Red carrot
White wine
Salt
Sugar
Water
Soy sauce
Vinegar

Instructions:
Mix the white wine, salt, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar
Slice the cabbage, red carrot and soak into the sauce stated above about 1 day
Oil fry tofu about 3~5 minutes
Cut tofu into smaller piece ( 4 or 5 ) and oil fry about 3~5 minutes again
And put the sliced cabbage and red carrot above the tofu

Fried Salty Chicken


Ingredients:
Chicken
Soy Sauce
Sugar
Pepper
Five spices powder
Tapioca Starch
Sweet potato flour
Garlic

Instructions:
Cut chicken into pieces, mix with soy sauce, sugar and garlic
Add some tapioca starch and sweet potato flour to chicken
Oil fry the chicken about 5~7 minutes
And add some pepper and five spices powder to chicken

Beef Don


Ingredients:
Beef sliced
Onion
White wine
Sugar
Soy sauce

Instructions:

Cut the onion into slice and mix with white wine, sugar, soy sauce.
Put all the stuff into the pot, and stir-fry about 3~5 minute.

*Some Japanese will add some snake palm and eggs.

Dan-Tsu Noodles


Ingredients:
Taiwanese noodle or Japanese noodle
Grounded Meat
Bean sprouts
Giant tiger prawn
Shiitake mushroom
Cilantro
Salt
Water

Instructions:
Boil the noodle for 3~5 minutes and put them into cold water for a while
Stir-fry the grounded meat
Boil the bean sprout and giant tiger prawn
Put all the stuff into the pot and boil about 3~5 minutes
Add some salt and cilantro

Shanghai Vegetable Rice


Ingredients:
Dried shrimp
Shiitake mushroom
Pak choy
Water
Rice

Instructions:
Wash the dried shrimp, shiitake mushroom and pak choy
Cut them into pieces and stir-fry about 3~5 minutes
Add some salt
Put the raw rice into electric pot about 15~20 minutes, don’t forget to add some water to the pot
Stir-fry the rice with all the stuff about 3~5 minutes

*Some Taiwanese will add some grounded meat.
